Hi! My name is Melanie and I know that everyone needs an escape! As a mom of two busy kids, a wife of a chef, and a Cardiac Cath Lab nurse, life gets hectic. Planning trips around beautiful places is my escape.
My love for travel stems from the vacations that I took with my family growing up. Specifically, a road trip from San Francisco to San Diego in a Winnebago, with my 3 siblings and parents- this was the vacation that opened my eyes. Trips like this one made me realize how life-changing travel can be and how important it is for the family bond. Since then, I’ve travelled to parts all over the U.S, Spain, England, Italy, Mexico, Caribbean, and Canada. My travel experiences have made me comfortable in planning even the most challenging of trips.
There is always a must see or do along the way, and if the destination offers a chance to learn something new or historical, it’s a bonus! The challenge to find a great deal is also a huge incentive for my travel planning. Allow me to plan your trip so that you can “carry on” with your daily life!
A personal travel planner does all the research and planning of the trip for you. I'll build a trip based on your personal preferences, family composition and special needs.
Accommodation, attractions, transportation, restaurants, and maps, are all provided. You will get a detailed file that includes all the information according to day and time. All that you need to do is sign-off and pack.
Anyone can book a hotel, but putting together a vacation takes time. The idea is to maximize your time and money instead of wasting it on an attraction you didn't know was closed or a hotel that looks beautiful only in pictures.
That's it. Just enjoy your trip. I've taken care of all the details, accessible right on your phone.
New England & NY
My area of expertise.
New England and NY state are my areas of expertise. We are so fortunate to have the beaches on the Cape, the city life and history of Boston, the outdoor adventures in Maine and the beauty of the seasons. Growing up on Cape Cod and living in Boston for most of my 20s has allowed me to explore all that these areas have to offer.
Road trips that include multiple cities or stops are my favorite adventures to plan. I always try to get the most out my trips. From a weekend in NYC, 5 days from Boston to Acadia, a flight to North Carolina followed by a 10 day road trip to Florida, or 12 days around Spain- the options are endless.
Whether it’s a family trip or a girls weekend, the itinerary will share a balance between thrilling and relaxing things to do. I hope to build your daily vacation itinerary, including: the booking of hotels, transportation, and excursions.
